Mike has completed the Chartered Insurance Institute’s (CII) Advanced Diploma, which qualifies him to hold Chartered Financial Planner status. He is also a member of the Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA), an organisation dedicated to providing expert advice to clients upon all ‘later life’ financial matters.
Mike has worked within the financial services industry for over 30 years, initially as an adviser for HSBC and Barclays banking groups. Subsequently, he advised medical professionals through BMA Services and continues to provide specialist advice for members of the NHS Pension Scheme. Mike’s emphasis is on maintaining long term relationships with his clients, providing them with a source of trusted advice as their financial needs evolve over the years.
Mike’s status as a Chartered Financial Planner confirms that he has obtained a suite of professional qualifications enabling him to provide a broad based holistic planning service for his clients, addressing all of their financial needs. He still advises members of the NHS Pension Scheme, drawing upon his specialist knowledge acquired from many years of advising medical professionals. As a member of SOLLA, Mike has also demonstrated his skill in advising clients regarding ‘later life’ issues such as long term care and equity release.
Mike is married with two children and two grandchildren. He enjoys restoring and running classic vehicles, combining his love of travel and riding motorcycles as often as possible. He is also a keen follower of MotoGP and World Superbikes.
