Rachard, or Rash as he likes to be known, holds the Chartered Insurance Institute’s (CII) Diploma in Financial Planning, as well as various CII accreditations covering personal taxation and later life planning. He has additional qualifications for post-retirement planning, such as equity release and long-term care. Rash is also a member of the Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA), an organisation dedicated to providing expert advice to clients upon all ‘later life’ financial matters.
Rash has worked within the financial services industry for about 20 years. He started his career with NPI, before moving to Scottish Widows and then Clerical Medical in support and business development roles. In 2006, Rash became an advisor with Legal and General. It was here that he developed experience in estate planning and inheritance tax mitigation. Moving to NatWest and based in the City and London’s West End, Rash worked with entrepreneurs and high net worth business clients as a business advisor. During the last 5 years, Rash has been working as a Wealth Planner for international wealth management company, Sanlam and has focused on expanding his knowledge of estate and later life planning, before joining the Throgmorton Team.
Although Rash has experience in many different aspects of financial planning, he focuses on a holistic approach to advice, with particular attention to communicating “how all the parts fit together and work for you”. Rash is committed to forming long term relationships with clients and considers regularly reviewing their plans and investments to be a critical element in the financial planning process.
Rash has an active family life and is very keen on outdoor activities, most recently kite surfing. He has also participated in some extreme activities, usually involving travelling at high speed towards, or across, the earth.
